Short History

RMPA Veterans about to parade in Edinbrugh in 2001 (38K)

The Royal Military Police Association (RMPA) was formed in 1946 when the Old Comrades Association and the
Old Comrades Association (War) amalgamated.

There are various branches located throughout the United Kingdom and overseas. The RMPA is a registered charity within the Charities Act 1993.

Membership of the RMP Association is open to all serving members and Veterans of The Royal Military Police. The Association was formed to encourage and promote fellowship and friendship between past and present members of RMP and to provide help to members and their families in times of need.
